Future Sure over the holiday season

Information about the future of gas has been prominent over the holiday season with the launch of the new Future Sure campaign and website.

The new Future Sure website went live just before Christmas along with the first tranche of pop-up advertising.

The campaign uses Facebook and LinkedIn advertising to pique interest in renewable gas and give Kiwi’s confidence that the gas will keep flowing while we make the transition.

For tomorrow’s energy, companies are looking to gases like hydrogen, biogas and bioLPG to energise our homes, and help NZ achieve net zero carbon by 2050. Right now, most modern energy efficient gas appliances are already able to run on a blend of renewable gas. So in the future the gas energy Kiwis love will continue to flow but will be lower in emissions for cooking, home heating, water heating, and outdoor living like firing up the BBQ, fireplace or spa.

The ads have had good engagement and a range of responses. The campaign is supported by a cohort of GasNZ members and the driver for the campaign is twofold: to raise the profile of renewable gases and to ensure people who rely gas now have better insight into the future of gas.
