GasNZ's LPG training and certification system continues to be high demand - both its online resources and tests and its portfolio of printed workbooks and guides.

On average, over 60 LPG training workbooks are dispatched monthly. In addtion, around 45 filler and trainer certificates are also sent out every month to New Zealand’s 300 certified LPG site trainers.

These training resources are managed by GasNZ’s Rowena Brandeis and the printing and distribution provider, Touchprint.

After receiving an online order, printed material is typically dispatched within 24 hours.Touchprint looks after the inventory levels of printed material on GasNZ's behalf, printing more copies as required.

While 'behind the scenes', GasNZ's LPG operator training system provides an essential underpinning of the safe handling of LPG production, distribution and retailing in New Zealand.

And in a new initiative, from this week, advice on the immediate first aid for LPG cold burns, together with treatment advice for clinicians will be added to the training packs. (See the GasNZ procurement portal.)
